If you are looking for inspiration for a drive on the Fleurieu Peninsula this one is for you. This drive takes you through rolling green hills and you be gobsmacked by the stunning scenery. On the to do list is reservoirs, breweries, beaches and waterfalls!

Sellicks Hill - @cbocky

Take Main South Road and head towards Myponga which is located around 60 minutes South of Adelaide. You'll know you've hit the gods Country when you see the giant Buddah! Wind your way around the Sellicks Cutting.

Myponga Reservoir Trail - @row_an_james
Myponga Reservoir Trail - @lowpoke

Stop in Myponga, if you've got kids go for a play at the Nature Playground in the Main Street or walk the Myponga Reservoir Trail.

The Myponga Reservoir trail is 3.3km (approx.) loop track taking you through open plains, forested areas and native vegetation. It is ideal for walking, running or cycling with room for families to enjoy a picnic. Located via Hansen Street in Myponga.

Fishing is allowed at Myponga Reservoir Reserve with a permit, visit reservoirs.sa.gov.au/reservoirs/myponga to find out more.

Smiling Samoyed Brewery - @smilingsamoyed

If you have timed your visit right reward yourself with beer from Smiling Samoyed Brewery. There is an outdoor playground for the kids, delicious wood-oven pizza and award winning beer. My tip is to try the Kolsch, an easy drinking German style golden ale.

Yankalilla - nEverest Photography

Continue the adventure south towards Yankalilla, home to the famous Bakery, great pub, The Little Cheese Room and a thrift shoppers dream! In the words of Macklemore, "if you wanna pop some tags, but only have 20 dollars in your pocket", Yankalilla Main Street will be your jam!

Stop in Yankalilla for lunch, explore the streets or continue to Normanville for more great food and coffee options.

Normanville Beach - @droningaustralia

A trip to Normanville is incomplete without doing a 'beach cruise' to Normanville Beach down Jetty Road.

Ingalalla Waterfalls - @row_an_james

After refueling head out on Hayflat Road to Ingalalla Waterfalls which are 10 kilometres south of Normanville. The Waterfalls are within 500m of the car park and open all year round, it is the perfect place for a picnic and there are extended walks around the forest for the fitness lovers.

Carricaklinga - @antstagram_sa

Return via Normanville and head to Carrickalinga, again a beach cruise is a must! If you can bring yourself to leave (we recommend you stay and night or two as we have so much more to explore) head home via Forektree Road.

Forktree Brewing - @antstagram_sa

But before you go home, if the timing is right stop in at Forktree Brewing to stock up on local beer or even better grab a bite to eat. This place has the best burgers around, plus many other delicious options. The venue is a converted shearing shed with plenty of character and a playground for the kids.
