Guided Tour of Historic Yankalilla Cemetery

When: Thursday 5th May, 2pm.

Where: Yankalilla Cemetery, Inman Valley Road, Yankalilla.

Cost: Free.

Did your ancestors live in the Yankalilla district? Perhaps they are buried in this cemetery, which was established in 1858. The first burial was that of Mary Lowe. She was buried in what is known as the “old ground”, which contains the graves of some early settlers, and a number of young children. The “newer” part also has many old graves.
