Description

Yarnauwi Farm has been developing as a permaculture-based small farm since 2012. Join a tour of the farm to see how past First Nations, colonial and contemporary land uses are still evident in the landscape and learn about how the current owners are working to restore habitat and cultivate the farm into the future. Illustrations and accounts of past landscapes in the location of the farm, and historical accounts of Yarnauwingga, Bishop's Flat and Anacotilla provide rich information about how the landscape changed before and after colonisation. Learn more about erosion, water cycles, habitat and how our vision for the farm echoes the mixed small farm approach of past historical periods.

Limited accessibility - event is a walking tour over uneven ground. Closed, comfortable shoes required.
Suitable for all ages.
