Wirrina Blue Grass Festival 2017
Wirrina Bluegrass & Acoustic Roots Festival

20th - 22nd November 2020

The Wirrina Bluegrass and Acoustic Roots Festival is an annual gathering for people to hear, play and share acoustic music from the Bluegrass, ‘Old Timey’ and other related traditions.

Bluegrass is great music. That’s why it heads up our festival. Our stage attracts world-class musicians; many come back each year to perform, to run workshops, and to join in the fun and inspiration of all that a Wirrina festival is.

normanville new years eve pageantNormanville New Year's Eve Pageant

31st December 2020

New Year’s Eve 2020 will see the 23rd Annual Normanville New Year’s Eve Pageant.

The pageant consists of a parade of approximately 40 colourful floats leaving Katherine Drive at 7.30pm sharp winding its way through the streets of Normanville ending at the beautiful Normanville foreshore at approximately 8pm. Make sure you get there early to secure your spot behind the blue honour line!

Locals and tourists alike flock to the foreshore to be entertained by DJ Hazzman, amusements, and fed by the local community clubs and groups. The night’s festivities are finalised with a fireworks display at around 9.45pm. The pageant provides a fun, safe family environment for the entire community plus the many visitors staying in the area.

You are invited to be part of the pageant, whether it be just as a visitor or as a participant. We encourage you to get your friends or family together and enter a float. Free costume hire is available.
