Normanville

Normanville is a relaxed coastal town on the western Fleurieu Peninsula, around 76 kilometres south of Adelaide, with a long sandy beach, a walkable town centre and easy access to some of the region's best coastal and country drives.

The beach stretches for more than seven kilometres and is popular for swimming, walking, paddleboarding and fishing, with the Normanville Jetty a favourite spot to cast a line. The beach is patrolled by surf lifesavers during summer, while nearby Carrickalinga and Lady Bay offer even more coastline to explore.

Back in town, cafés, the historic Normanville Hotel, independent shops and local businesses sit within easy reach of the foreshore.

Normanville also makes a handy base for exploring the western Fleurieu. Head south towards Second Valley, Rapid Bay and Cape Jervis, inland to Yankalilla and Ingalalla Falls, or spend a day golfing at nearby Lady Bay.

It's an easy-going seaside town that works equally well for a beach day, weekend away or a longer stay exploring the coast.
