The Big Duck Boat Tour is the Fleurieu Peninsula's spectacular ocean adventure experience.

Explore inaccessible areas of coastline, islands, and beaches in the 12.5 metre expedition-style rigid inflatable boat. Spot seals, dolphins, seabirds and whales (in season) in their natural environment.

Our vessels accommodate up to 38 passengers . Spray jackets and life jackets are provided.

These tours offer passengers a unique aquatic experience on the beautiful south coast of the Fleurieu Peninsula. Boat charters are also available.Tours

Seal Island Tour

Departing from Victor Harbor, hop on board for a 45-minute cruise to Seal Island for the chance to meet-the-locals: the Long Nosed Fur Seals and the iconic Australian Sea lion. Bottlenose Dolphins can often be seen in the Bay, racing the boat for a meet-and-greet and head to Wright Island to bask in some of Victor Harbor's history. Expert commentary is provided by skipper and crew throughout the tour on wildlife, whaling and local history.

Southern Ocean Adventure

Experience a 90-minute marine thrill on The Southern Ocean Adventure. Head to Seal Island for the chance to meet some of the locals, the Long Nosed Fur Seal and iconic Australian Sea Lion as well as resting marine birds. Head over to Wright Island to learn about Victor Harbor's whaling history and for the chance to see some Bottlenose dolphins before heading to West Island to observe playful Fur Seals. Trek to the breathtaking Waitpinga Cliffs in the spectacular Southern Ocean to awe at the coastal geology.
During whale season, this tour is changed to give the best opportunity for whale watching.

Sea Wirrina Tour

Hop-on-board for a leisurely 60-minute cruise down the picturesque Fleurieu Peninsula, departing from Wirrina Cove Marina to Rapid Head. This tour is perfect for those after a calm day out on the water, as you amble past Second Valley and towards Rapid Bay. Pristine turquoise waters surround the coast with magnificent limestone cliffs and rolling hills along the Peninsula. Stop in at Rapid Bay to see the famous T-Sectioned Jetty and old quarry before venturing to Rapid Head to see Long Nosed Fur Seals and, if you’re lucky, the iconic Australian Sea Lion basking on the rocks. Look to the horizon and you can see Kangaroo Island to the south and all the way to Adelaide on a clear summer’s day.
