Writing for Children for Mike Lucas

Mike Lucas is the author of picture books and YA novels, with work produced by some of Australia’s top publishers, including Penguin, Hardie Grant and Hachette. If you’re interested in writing for children (from pre-school to young adult) come along and listen to Mike talk about the different genres and age groups, the skills needed to create a story, the processes behind getting published and how to stand out in a crowded industry.
